Theory is vitally important for anyone wishing to progress beyond learning a few notes. Whilst this is generally taught alongside instrumental tuition, it is often necessary to focus on key aspects of music theory, especially for progression into the advanced stages beyond Grade 5.
I offer:
- Teaching of the skills necessary to approach music theory from beginner to advanced
- Preparation for, and entry to, theory examinations
- Ad-hoc tuition based on the needs of the pupil i.e. this does not need to be a year-long programme
